  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

We restrict access to non-public personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your non-public personal information.

TIPS TO PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

It is recommended that you take the following precautions to guard against the disclosure and unauthorized use of your personal information and account:

  • Memorize personal identification numbers (PINs) and refrain from writing PINs, credit card numbers, or Social Security numbers where they could be easily found;
  • NEVER provide personal information (including full Social Security numbers or credit card information, and account information) over the phone unless you initiated the call and know with whom you are speaking or via e-mail;
  • Do not use easily identifiable numbers such as addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, or Social Security numbers wehn choosing your PIN;
  • Safeguard ATM, debit and credit cards;
  • Immediately change a pre-assigned PIN to a personally memorized PIN;
  • Store cancelled checks, new checks and account statements in a safe place;
  • Report lost or stolen checks, debit and credit cards immediately; and
  • Shred unused pre-approved credit offers.
